Audience

I write mainly for young adult readers in the high school age group. However, college students may enjoy reading from my library as well. My books fall into the adventure genre because I like a story full of twists and turns, odd circumstances, and questionable outcomes! I also include some teen and early adult romance to add emotion to the plots! My books are free of profane and vulgar language and content, making them convenient for the whole family to enjoy reading together as well!

It is summer vacation and twenty-year-old Katherine leaves the stresses of college life behind. Although none of her former high school friends will be there, Katherine is excited to return home to Crescent City to see her family. What could possibly go wrong?
While driving through Sacramento, on the way back to Crescent City, at one point Katherine goes under a bridge but when she drives out the other end, she finds herself in a new place with nothing around her but a dry, flat wasteland and a nearby village.
After finding rest and shelter at the village, Katherine has to befriend and team up with Hunter and a group of young, mischievous boys, who love to steal for fun, if she will ever find her way back home. But she does not know what challenges await her...

The ABC Squad of Crescent City Returns

Ten years following the events of saving Crescent City's country club, Jordan, Reagan, Nathan, Lindsey, Titus, Katherine, and now Madelyn and Hunter, are reunited again...but things make a wrong turn during a squad reunion in New York City.
After escaping a lion that gets let loose at the Central Park Zoo, the eight friends find themselves lying on their backs in an unfamiliar place that seems to be off the grid.
While having a hard time not believing what just happened, the eight friends now have to put their trust in a friendly, talking dachshund who claims to know the way back to where they came from. But there is no guessing what that will take...

About Ross Gardner

Ross Gardner is the bestselling author of The ABC Squad of Crescent City, a unique series layout consisting of the original installment, two spin-off books, and a concluding sequel. A deep thinker, Ross enjoys reading, drawing, and jigsaw puzzles. He lives in Dallas, Texas, but is currently attending school at Brigham Young University-Idaho. He is majoring in Software Engineering; writing is one of his hobbies.
Ross began brainstorming the first installment of The ABC Squad of Crescent City in high school and before he knew it he had developed ideas for three more installments. His interest in writing came more naturally to him was never something he considered doing growing up.
